The short versionWe collect what we need to make Schedgility work — your account, your courses, your schedule. We never sell it. We never use it to train AI models. You can export or delete it anytime.
What we collect
When you sign up, we collect your name, email, and (if you opt in) your school. As you use Schedgility, we store the courses, syllabi, assignments, and schedule blocks you create.
- Account: name, email, password hash, optional school
- Content: courses, syllabus uploads, assignments, schedule blocks, chat messages
- Usage: anonymized event logs (page loads, clicks) to debug and improve the product
- Billing: Stripe customer ID (we never see your card number)
How we use it
Your content is used to power the features you see: parsing, planning, chat, health checks. Usage logs are used to find bugs and prioritize the roadmap. Email is used for the things you signed up for and nothing else.
AI processing
Schedgility uses third-party AI models (Anthropic, Google) to power parsing, planning, and chat. Your content is sent to these providers only when needed to compute a response. Per our agreements with these providers, your data is not retained for model training.
What we never do
We never sell your data. We never share it with advertisers. We never use it to train AI models, ours or anyone else's. We never read your chat history except when you explicitly share a debug session with our support team.
Your rights
You can export your full account data as JSON at any time from Settings. You can delete your account, which removes all content within 30 days. If you live in the EU, UK, California, or Brazil, additional rights apply — see the regional sections below.
Cookies & tracking
We use a session cookie to keep you logged in. We use one privacy-respecting analytics tool (PostHog, self-hosted) that does not use cookies and does not fingerprint. We do not embed Facebook, Google, or any other ad-tech pixels.
Children
Schedgility is intended for users 13 and older. If you're under 13, please don't create an account. If we learn a user is under 13, we delete the account.
Changes to this policy
When we change this policy in a meaningful way, we email every active user at least 14 days before the change takes effect. The full version history is available on request.
