Terms of Service

The short versionUse Schedgility legally and don't abuse it. Pay if you're on a paid plan. We provide the service as-is but try our best. Either of us can stop anytime.

The agreement

By creating an account or using Schedgility, you agree to these terms. If you don't, please don't use the service.

Your account

You're responsible for everything that happens on your account. Keep your password safe. Tell us right away if you think someone else has access (support@schedgility.com).

Acceptable use

Don't use Schedgility to do anything illegal, harass others, attempt to break our systems, scrape our content, or train competing AI models on data you obtain through the service.

Payment & refunds

Paid plans bill monthly or annually depending on what you picked. You can cancel anytime from Settings — you keep access through the end of the billing period. We offer a 14-day no-questions-asked refund on any paid plan, including annual.

Your content

You own the content you put into Schedgility (your courses, syllabi, schedule, chat). You grant us a limited license to store, display, and process it solely to provide the service to you.

AI output

Schedgility's AI features generate suggestions, summaries, and plans. These are computed predictions, not professional advice. Always sanity-check important decisions — Schedgility is a planning aid, not your academic advisor.

Service availability

We aim for high uptime but don't promise it. We may need to take the service offline for maintenance with as much notice as we can give.

Limitation of liability

Schedgility is provided "as is." We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Our maximum liability to you is capped at the amount you've paid us in the last 12 months.

Ending the agreement

You can close your account at any time. We can suspend or close accounts that violate these terms, with notice when possible.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in San Francisco County.
